Prefeasibility Studies

The main objective of the project feasibility study is to propose, based on the available background, the best possible D&B designs for the project, taking into account the impact that downstream fragmentation has on the process, both in the mine (productivity of loading equipment, filling factors in trucks, cycle times, fleet size, among others) and in the plant (throughput). All this, without losing sight of the importance of protecting the impact of blasting damage on the remaining rock mass, both at bench and slope level (compliance with the geotechnical design versus sustainability of the mining business). The scope and activities of the P&V study to be developed for the pre-feasibility or feasibility of the project can be summarized in the following activities:

DRILLING AND BLASTING DESIGN

Equipment sizing

Collection and evaluation / Analysis of baseline information

Economic evaluation

Fragmentation prediction
