Traceability System

The mineral traceability system enables the tracking of the blasted material from the production face, through loading and hauling, and on the conveyor belt after crushing.

The system can associate the crushed material with the blast of origin and existing granulometric information.

This association is made through an arrangement of antennas installed on the conveyor belt which identify the tracking devices and subsequently assign the material’s attributes to them, based on their unique ID’s.

Tag Devices

The source device is a TAG card embedded in spherically-shaped, highly resistant resin or polymer.

Sensors are designed and manufactured with materials highly resistant to all shocks, friction and compression, in order to withstand the extreme conditions observed during blasting.

Mineral traceability system

The Mineral Traceability System is a totally autonomous method that does not require energy from the plant for the operation, since it is permanently connected to an independent photovoltaic energy network. This system ensures the continuity of the tracing operation, although the potential power outages are experienced by the plant.

The system includes a unique communication protocol, allowing to direct a linkage to the server via internet, without the need of using the minesite’s internal network.

This features enables accessing, viewing and analyzing the information from anywhere around the minesite, as long as it has internet access.

TAG Reading software

The TAG Inventory reading software was designed to operate the Mineral Traceability System, which generates as an inventory of all sensors located on the ground (“seeding process”).

After the blasting schedule, the source devices are identified when passing through the gateways on the conveyor belts, where the antennas are installed.
All the information available for the TAG is stored on a cloud-based platform which is accessible online from anywhere in the world.
